Solid Waste

| In July of 2010, the City is changing
the method of solid waste collection. The new system of
garbage and recycling carts eliminates the need to buy specially labeled
"city bags" and allows residents to simply place their kitchen trash
bags in the cart.
Communities across the US and Canada have
found that the cart systems have led to cleaner communities because of
the ease and simplification of disposal and billing.
